About Bodies In Motion Performing Arts & Dance School
Bodies In Motion’s mission is to foster in children and adults a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts and the correlation between participation in the arts and enhanced physical and emotional well-being.
Bodies In Motion Performing Arts & Dance School is a family centered program. Our professional staff is committed to assisting families and communities in their efforts to nurture positive attitudes, self-awareness, and civic responsibility in children and youth through the performing arts.
Since 1995, Bodies In Motion Performing Arts & Dance School has provided the Philadelphia Tri-State Area with an unsurpassed training program in performing arts. Our staff of professional instructors is focused on providing the best atmosphere of discipline, learning and fun.
We offer all levels of instruction in:
Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Praise Dance, Acrobatics and Technique & Turns.
We offer classes suitable for all levels; whether you are a life-long dancer desiring to continue your training or just looking for a great way to exercise and have fun. If you are interested in pursuing a dance or performing arts career, our instruction can prepare you for everything from classical ballet to Broadway. We are also the home studio of the award-winning Bodies In Motion Dance Company, a HIP-HOPPIN STREET FUNK’ company for students 6 and up.
REGISTRATION
Registration will be taken in the order in which the completed forms are received. Registration is done in person at the studio. A non-refundable Registration Fee of $60.00 per student is required to reserve class space. A non-refundable Costume Deposit Fee of $25 (per costume/class) is also required. Space is not guaranteed until both the registration fee and costume deposit are made. At the time of registration, please inform office as to who is responsible for payment and correspondence. Students must have a completed and signed registration form on file.

ATTENDANCE POLICY
All students are required to attend every class in which they are enrolled. Each student's interest and progress is directly related to good attendance. There are no refunds or credits for missed classes.
Students are expected to arrive for class on time. Late arrivals disrupt the class and miss the proper warm-up at the beginning of class. Students who arrive ten or more minutes late for class may be asked to sit and observe. Missed classes are not transferable.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
In case of inclement weather, parents should call the school for a message about closing. Whenever possible, Bodies In Motion tries to be considerate about the various locations our students are traveling. We understand that weather conditions will vary from area to area.
